Bring some food, coke, fanta and lemonade. You should dress up as a skeleton but don’t ignore the dress code. It is at Riverina School.

It starts at 10 at night. We will have party games and fireworks too. It finishes at 9am so I hope you sleep in because you are a bat. You can bring a guest or you don’t have to. If you want you can ask us to make a statue of you. It will have everything that you have.

There will be a hot pool to relax in if it gets cold. The day of the party is Saturday. If you win games you win money.

We hope you have a good time and enjoy the games Batman.

My Firework

My firework would be called Super Mango Strawberry Lemon Rocket. It would have fancy jewellery. When it gets up to the sky it writes your name.

It will make a twinkling sound when it twinkles. It is firework-tastic and it would clean everything! It would even bake anything you desire. You get an adult to light it up and it will do anything. The Super Mango Strawberry Lemon Rocket is amazing! It is $24.

To light it for kids you blow a bubble then you wait for 15 seconds. Then it will go out.

If you call 084 467 467 you will get it for FREE! If you buy two together it will be $10,000. When it explodes it goes round and up.

It is sold at the firework store and it is a big deal so come and get it today!

Fun Fireworks

Fireworks are fun to watch, but can cause a lot of damage.

Fireworks can be in lots of colourful colours like orange, yellow, gold, white, purple, pink, bronze, green, red, silver and blue.

To keep safe you’ll need a hose, bucket of water and to keep pets inside. You also need an adult around you.

Fireworks are made out of gun powder. After the put the gun powder in the container, they wrap it up with colourful wrapping so we will be interested in them.

Fireworks can make different sounds like boom, crackle and sparkle. They are beautiful at night but in teh day you can’t see them.

They can be different sizes. The smallest firework is the Cascade. The biggest one is the Bad Boys.

Every time I see fireworks I jump, I’m excited and I yell like the crowd. I love fireworks, do you?

Valentines

On Valentines day my siblings, my mum and dad and I went to a Valentines restaurant in Pakuranga.

We went at 8.30 but before that, we made some Valentines cards. The colours we used were pink and red. Then we added some writing onto the paper.

After that we drove to Pakuranga to the restaurant

When we got there, we asked for food for dinner and paid money. For dinner our food was chicken, vegetables and for our drink we had sprite.

While we were waiting for our dinner to come, my brother and sister and I decided to play games in this game room full of machines.

In the game room we started to play Pacman because it was our favourite game of all.

When our food arrived we started to eat and eat and eat.

After dinner we went ot get some treats. Some of the treats were ice-cream, cake, lollies, chocolate, cheesecake and also there was some fruit.

After a while, we packed out dinner in the rubbish bin and paid money so we could go home.

At home it was really dark so we packed our food away that we saved. Then we went for a big sleep, until the next day.

Valentines day was lovely because I celebrated with my family.

My Auntie’s Wedding

On February the ninth 2014, my auntie got married.

My whole family including the bridesmaids got changed at my nana’s house.

When my auntie came out of her room she was wearing a big long and wavey white dress. She looked beautiful.

When everyone was ready my mum and I and the rest of the bridesmaids got into a very long white and black limio. My auntie and my uncle that she married went in a silver Holden.

Everyone went to the church hall and when the flower girls were throwing rose petals down the walkway I was holding the ring.

After that the drivers drove us to the Botanic Gardens. We took a lot of family photos.

We finished at Botanic Gardens and then we went to Ellerslie race course. We went up in the elevator to level 20.

We looked around around inside the room and there were millions of plates of food, like enough to feed 100 people.

On my plate of food I had chop suey, lamb, fried rice and chicken. For dessert I had chocolate log cake with vanilla ice cream.

It was fun.

Gizmoe The Magic Man Escapes Jail

A long time ago there was a magic man called Gizmoe who used to live in America. People in America didn’t believe in magic so Gizmoe moved to Australia. Instead he used magic to steal. Gizmoe didn’t have a house anymore.

In Australia the police called Gizmoe the magic stealer. One night Gizmoe the magic stealer was walking to the back to steal money. He was through all the walls and walked over big objects. Gizmoe stole all of the money he could and he was in invisible mode so the cameras couldn’t see him. Gizmoe got out of the building, but all of a sudden a cop saw him with his invisibility goggles. The cop shot a bullet at Gizmoe and all of a sudden Gizmoe lost his magic and fell on the floor and almost died.

When Gizmoe woke up, he found himself in jail. The cops were showing that they were better than Gizmoe. Then Gizmoe just remembered that he has his magic mind so he controlled them with his mind and told them to give him the keys. The cops found his magic in the toilet.

Gizmoe used his special time out glove and everybody stayed still and he was really bad and he stole lots of money and rich things.

People Should Celebrate Christmas.

People should celebrate Christmas because they can have a fun time with their family, they get to open presents and it’s an important time of the year.

People should celebrate Christmas because they can have a fun time with their family. They can have a day off of work and school because Christmas is a special day. Secondly, children could play with their new toys or share them with their family and play with them.

People should celebrate Christmas because they get to open up their presents. Some children are spoiled because they get given treats like their favourite lollies, cards with money, amazing toys and more. Some people do not celebrate Christmas because it is their choice.

People should celebrate Christmas Day because it is an important time of the year. Jesus’ birthday is on Christmas Day so we should celebrate him too. Sant Clause is also special because he is the one who delivers the presents.

Children Shouldn’t Wear a Uniform.

Children shouldn’t wear a uniform because they might lose their expensive uniform, they might not like the colour and they will have to wear the same clothes all the time.

Children shouldn’t wear a uniform because the uniform might be expensive. You can buy food or drinks rather than uniforms. Your uniform might get lost and you’ll have to buy another expensive uniform.

When you buy a uniform you might not like the design or the colour on the uniform. Maybe you don’t like the uniform. It might not be pretty or you might want more patterns.

If you bought a uniform you would wear it all the time. It’ll be dirty and boring. Your uniform might have a boring colour and might get smelly and if you bought one you’ll have to wash it all the time.

Children shouldn’t have to wear a uniform.

Keeping Ourselves Clean

Keeping ourselves clean can be very important. You need to brush your teeth with toothpaste and water and eat 5 plus a day..

Another idea for keeping ourselves clean is that you need to wash your hands with soap and water everyday before touching anything.

To keep yourself tidy and smell nice you can have a shower. When you’re in the shower you can use soap, body wash or shampoo to wash your body.

If you’re a girl and you have long hair you can use conditioner to make your hair soft then brush your hair.

Then once you have had a shower you can put on some clean clothes. Then you are finished and you are tidy.

Keeping ourselves clean is good for you.

Making Masks

Last week Room 6 drew masks on our paper. We drew a picture of what our mask was going to look like. The we labelled what paint we wanted.

This week on Thursday Miss Walters wrote our name at the back of the paper plate. When she finished writing our name she gave us our paper plate. After that we drew our mask copying the paper that we drew last week.

First when we started drawing our picture we had to draw our eyes. After we drew our eyes we got our pencils and made a hole..

Then we grabbed scissors to cut our eyes out. While we were drawing Miss Walters put out some newspaper so when we painted, the paint wouldn’t get on the table in the middle.

Then when some people were finished Miss Walters called out people to come and paint.

Miss Walters made paint with water, flour, salt and food colouring. The paint she made was pink, yellow, blue, orange, green and purple.

After when everybody was finished we put our masks on the other table so it could dry.

Waste Not, Want Not Research.

Yesterday on Thursday 4 June we researched recycling facts for our inquiry learning in our class. Me, Riiana, Jessica, Agueer and Anthony, we researched general compost and general recycling. The room 10 students helped us use the computers correctly and carefully.

Riiana wrote all the facts down in just one go. She wrote about worm farms, how the recycling was taken and much, much more. Our teacher, Miss Walters, was amazed with some of our facts that we found. Our room 10 helpers were Izabella and Sharlom.

Miss Walters checked if there were any mistakes but there weren’t. It was awesome!

P.S You can find more about recycling on www.kidsbegreen.org. It’s fun!

Waste Not, Want Not.

On Wednesday Room 6 did art, because we were learning about waste for our inquiry. First Miss Walters put us into groups then we cut waste into little pieces.

Second we used PVA glue and sponges to stick them onto the bin. Everyone drew pictures, we only stuck some on because we had to finish our work.

Then Miss Walters said "don't cover the name of the bin" but Anthony and Dora didn't listen. Some other children in Room 6 got to colour in the maze they drew in pastels with the coloured dye.

The next day on Thursday our teacher had glue gunned some things that we could not stick on with PVA onto our bins.

Art is fun!

A Robot
Once upon a time there was a robot named Robotek. The robot trained because there were robots coming to his base. His base was in the forest where lots of animals are. The animals he liked were a cheetah, panthers, tigers, leopards, deers and lions. He trained them as his soliders and made sure they were safe. The captain was a robot that was named Robotek. Robotek was a warrior that was really strong and brave. He had 8000 tigers and had 120000 panthers, lions, cheetahs, deers and leopards. Robotek was 66 years old and the bad guys he killed would steal their armour. It was time for his soliders to build him a castle so he busted down his base because it was too old. All of his soldiers were named after robots. It was time for his armies to go to space. When they got to space the captain decided to pick Saturn because that was his favourite planet. When they got on the planet they went back and got their army. The captain could smell something wet. It was time for them to fight. The captain said “stay back because I will kill them all.” Then his army ran up then stole off of their gear.

Keeping Healthy and Fit

Keeping healthy is important because it helps you get stronger.

You have to eat healthy food like broccoli and vegetables, milk, fruit and lots of water. Milk keeps your bones strong. Eat 5+ a day means eat three different types of vegetables and two different fruits every day.

There are different types of exercise like jogging, netball and running. Exercise also helps warm us up and keeps us fit.

For you to stay clean you have to shower every day so you don’t smell so bad and clean your teeth, otherwise they will fall out. You should wash your hands otherwise you will spread germs.

Sarah In The Jungle

A long time ago there was a cyborg called Sarah who was quite dumb. She went to go and look for some fruit in the jungle, when she saw a waterfall with a leopard that was also a cyborg with red robotic eyes with a humongous, powerful laser on top of it. The leopard was hiding in the waterfall hunting for Sarah. Sarah got ready. She ran up to the leopard and used her laser eyes and shot the leopard in the left eye. Sarah started running and then she found herself in a rainforest. Sarah looked back and saw the leopard behind her. The leopard jumped on Sarah and she tried to use her lasers but it was unstoppable. She kicked it off and used her sword to cut the leopard’s head off. Sarah went back and got fruit and went to her own planet.

WALT write an imaginative narrative.

In a far away land, was a beautiful island with people living in tree houses covered with colourful flowers. One day construction builders found the island while they were sailing on their brown, enormous boat. They turned the place into a dump so it was up to Adilin to stop them.

Adilin was only 18. Her hair was hazelnut and it was smooth and soft. Adilin was in her house far away from everyone else.

“I’m bored” she moaned. She looked at the gleaming window and yelled “Austin, wake up and come look at this!”

Austin was a goat dog. He used to be a normal dog but he got affected by the toxic waste down in the dreary cave.

“Woof woof” Austin barked. Adilin ran outside and it was so dreary like the cave. “Woof woof!” Austin barked even louder but this time it echoed around the room.
