On Wednesday 17th of September Ruapotaka School held a cross country running event. Room 7 had been practicing for this by running lots in fitness each morning and were getting to be good runners. We had a few winners in our classroom!
Jackson came 2nd in the 7 year old boys race and he went off to the Interschool Cross Country on the 24th, with two of our 8 year old girls, who ran very well in their race at school too! Tyron also came 3rd in the 8 year old boys race.
Congratulations to our winners and well done to everyone who raced - keep up the good work and be fit and healthy!
