On Thursday 17th September we were lucky to have a special show all about asthma and we even got to sing some songs!
The song we sang was all about the triggers of asthma - we learnt about pollen, smoke, viruses, animal fur, dust mites and cold air. All of these things can make your bronchial tubes get tight, fill up with mucus and make it hard to breathe! Have a look at the song below...
Then we learnt all about how to use an inhaler properly with Puffer the Fish - did you know that 50% of the medicine gets stuck in your mouth and throat if you don't use a spacer? Wow!
