Crazy Cross Country

On Wednesday 16th September our school had Cross Country and Room 6 had some winners! There are some great runners in our class! We had to make sure that our shoe laces were tied up tightly so our shoes wouldn't fall off!




Dora came first for the Y4 girls' race and Guinevere came third, then Tristan came first for the Y4 boys' race.





Kotipi was the fastest 7 year old girl in our school and Anthony came second and Jazer came third for the 7 year old boys!

Limiteti was first for the 8 year old girls and Alicia was second, just behind her!






Everyone ran really well and we were really proud of them and cheered for everyone as they crossed the finish line. Keep up the good running and maybe next year some other people will take out first, second and third!

We are so proud of everyone in our classroom for trying their best, even if running cross country might not be their favourite thing to do!

Crazy Cross Country

This term we have Cross Country - we're already starting to practice by going for a run during our fitness time, but we need to practice lots to be able to run well in the competition at the end of this term and this weather isn't really helping!

If we keep practicing until the end of the term we will be better than before! We can keep ourselves fit by running.







Remember to check your shoe laces before you run so you don't trip over and waste time stopping during running. Remember to take your big jumpers off before running - you'll all get too hot! Also remember to start off slowly, run straight and look where you are going!
